Therapy groups are powerful because it tells us we aren’t alone in what we are going through. There’s something comforting about being amongst a group of people who understand what we are going through because they are experiencing it too. A safe, supportive and comfortable space to feel heard and seen. Plus, group therapy offers a chance to build real connections and practice new coping skills in a safe, encouraging environment. Sometimes, just knowing others “get it” can make all the difference in how we heal and grow.
